How to Use ZCignals
ZCignals is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell securities. Day trading is risky and can result in loss of capital.
Understand a Signal
- Ticker is the stock symbol being watched.
- Buy is the suggested breakout or entry area.
- Sell is the suggested target area.
- Buy and Sell are trade ideas only. Use close ranges around those entries and exits instead of treating them as guaranteed exact prices.
- Stop Loss is an indicative risk area. If it shows NA, choose your own stop level.
- Est. Profit is the distance between Buy and Sell. It is not a profit guarantee.
- Signal time and the “mins ago” label help you judge whether the idea is still fresh.
- Your own research and intuition are very important before entering any trade.
Placing Breakout Orders
- Use a limit order near the Buy area when possible.
- Do not chase far above the Buy area without your own analysis.
- Plan the exit before entry: target, stop, size, and max loss.
- If your broker supports bracket orders, consider entering target and stop orders together.
Cancelled Signals
Cancelled means the published trade idea should no longer be treated as active. Often, the breakout idea never reached the breakout area. It can also happen because momentum faded, price action weakened, volatility changed, or timing passed. If you are already in a trade, manage it using your own plan.
Signal Statuses
- Active means the signal idea is still being watched.
- Target Hit means price reached the published target area.
- Stop Hit means price moved against the idea enough to reach the published stop area.
- Cancelled means the idea is no longer active before a clean target or stop outcome.
Speed and Freshness
- Small cap signals can move quickly.
- A signal that is 2 minutes old is different from one that is 30 minutes old.
- If price already reached the target area, do not treat the original Buy as fresh.
- Some days may have no signals if the market is not offering clean setups.
What to Watch
